Our Services
REPS is proud to have the following services available including (but not limited to):
-
Getting back to your "former glory" after surgery can be challenging, but you don't have to do it alone. Successful recovery is a team effort involving your Surgeon, Physiotherapist, and Exercise Physiologist.
In the early stages, your Physiotherapist focuses on acute pain management and initial movement. As you progress, our role as Exercise Physiologists is to take your recovery to the finish line. We design evidence-based loading programs and structured rehabilitation plans tailored to your specific goals, whether that’s returning to competitive sport or maintaining independence and mobility in retirement.
-
Managing chronic health conditions is at the heart of what we do as Exercise Physiologists. Conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM), hypertension (high blood pressure), fatty liver disease, and obesity are often a significant source of concern, but the evidence is clear, targeted movement is one of the most effective forms of medicine.
The good news is that these conditions can be expertly managed and in many cases, significantly improved or reversed with a precisely prescribed exercise plan. We focus on evidence-based lifestyle interventions that lower your clinical markers, improve your energy levels, and reduce your long-term health risks.
Medicare Subsidies: Many chronic conditions qualify for a chronic condition management plan which provides Medicare rebates for your sessions. Remember at REPS we bulk bill these referrals, so speak to your GP to see if you are eligible.
-
For those who are already consistent with their training but want to move from "exercising" to "training with purpose," REPS is here to provide the structure you need. We perform a comprehensive analysis of your current routine and make precise, evidence-based adjustments to ensure you are trending toward your goals.
Our programming follows a Consultation & Review model. We build your bespoke plan, you implement it independently for 4–6 weeks, and we reconvene for a progress review and program adjustments. This ensures your training remains effective, challenging, and aligned with your results.
-
Whether you have injured your shoulder at work or strained your knee on the sporting field, REPS is here to guide your recovery.
Our approach focuses on "active recovery." By utilising controlled loading and movement correction, we help you rebuild strength and resilience in the injured area. We work alongside your existing health team to ensure a safe, progressive transition from initial injury back to your full physical capacity.
